Honestly, how long have I waited to see this collaboration? This might be old news but I was just on the Stussy site and I saw this hot mess. Sorry, but this is not my cup of tea. This jacket is ugly as hell, and I'm not gonna pass it as "legitimate". Let's be real though, couldn't these guys have come out with a nicer design for a jacket or a shirt? I'll give these guys an A for effort.

This is a little late, but whatever.

The Full Metallic Jacket Tees are a three way collaboration between Stussy, Undefeated and Mad Hectic (Japan). These tees feature a military camo graphic on the front and each brand's graphic on the back.

The limited edition Stussy x Dondi White tees and Full Metallic Jacket tees will release on Saturday, May 2nd.

I always thought Cassidy was a dope rapper. Though after watching this I found new respect for him. I'm happy for you Cassidy, you found God.

My mom randomly bought me two tickets to go see Drake at the Sound Academy on the 13th of May. I honestly respect this guy's work and bump his stuff heavy on my iPod, so don't take this the wrong way. I was looking at the So Far Gone mixtape cover and it looked familiar. Then I remembered No Doubt's Rock Steady Album cover and compared it. Whatever, inspiration can come from other people's ideas right? We still love you Drake.

As you may have already noticed the postings on this blog are not in chronological order. Carrying on this tradition, I've decided to finally do my introductory post.

My name is Gillian although many people call me Gill, Gilly, Gill Gill... and so on and so forth. I'm 19 and I live in the downtown area of the beautiful city of Toronto. I have searched near and far and have come to the conclusion that music, graphic designing, urban fashion and dance interest me heavily. I'm in the process of learning how to DJ and produce beats.

What is the purpose of this blog and why the name 'Chicken and Waffles'? Well why the hell do people blog initially? To express their point of views and opinions on whatever topic interests them. Considering my friends and I are spontaneous, random individuals, I have decided to name my blog "Chicken & Waffles", a crazy combination of tasty -ISH for the Torontonian soul (although if you're not from Toronto, do your thing pimpin').

Like Drake says "holla if you got me, and fuck ya if you had me". We don't wanna hear that weak shit no more.

So a few weeks ago emerging artist Jesse Kennedy (also known as "The Night Rider") collaborated with Married to the Mob. This particular T-Shirt comes in black or white.

I checked Jesse's work out on her website which you can view here and needless to say it was somewhat a tad bit over explicit for my standards. Not that this is an ugly tee, but I would have expected a nicer illustration on the T-Shirt. Although I have to say I love how Jesse incorporated the MTTM signature kisses all over the chicks tights. The two t-shirts are now available from the MOB online store
